Curve Cowboy Reunion over, BMW Riders gave to a great charity!

Written by Eric Lange | September 6, 2012

The 13th annual Curve Cowboy Reunion now behind us, what a fantastic gathering it was!

A collection of mostly BMW Riders converged on Duluth, Minnesota this past week in the name of motorcycle cameraderie, riding, dining, and charity.  In the end it was a huge success, finishing with one of the greatest presentations to a charity I'd seen in a long time.

Having learned throughout the week what the people of Positive Energy Outdoors are doing to support outdoor activities for people of all ages, one can't help but to start "cheering" for the success of this organization.  Topics like teamwork, exploration, and physical activities out in the natural world are all at the core of their mission, leading many folks to new and uplifting experiences they might otherwise never encounter.

One of the amazing strengths of the small Curve Cowboy's Reunion is there disporportionate ability to raise fantastic sums of money towards groups like Positive Energy Outdoors.  At the end of the night, the banquet hall full of about 225 people was choked up as we presented Stephanie and Blake from Positive Energy with a check for $30,000 dollars!  Everyone who contributed was glad to know about their cause, and looks forward to seeing more great success come from such a great organization.

The evening closed by announcing the location for the 2013 Curve Cowboy Reunion.  Looks like we'll be seeing everyone again in Bend, Oregon!
