Location: Bend, Oregon
Position: Contract
Term: Roughly 6 Weekends June - September

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Adventure Motorcycle Rider to join our team in Bend, Oregon.

The successful candidate will have a passion for adventure riding and be able to share that passion with our clients.

As an Adventure Motorcycle Rider Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding our clients on multi-day adventure tours and providing rider training courses.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct rider training courses for beginner and intermediate level riders
  • Lead multi-day adventure tours for small groups of riders
  • Ensure the safety of all clients during tours and training courses
  • Provide instruction and guidance on proper riding techniques and adventure riding skills
  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of our fleet of adventure motorcycles
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 or older
  • Must pass a criminal history check
  • Must be in good mental and physical condition
  • Must be certified or able to be certified in Basic First Aid/CPR/AED prior to first instructor assignment
  • Must have a valid driver's license and motorcycle endorsement
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in adventure motorcycle riding
  • Must have an Adventure motorcycle that is reliable and in excellent condition I.G. No leaks, working lights, functioning brakes, appropriate tires, and be fully insured
  • Must have appropriate riding gear and adhere to the AGATT policy when operating any motorcycle while conducting training
  • Must be willing and able to commit to a minimum of 5 weekends during the training season (opportunity for up to 12 training weekends)
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and motorcycles as needed
  • Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of motorcycle maintenance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
