FAQS

Where can I pickup a motorcycle rental in Colombia?

Our motorcycle rentals in Colombia are based in Cali, for which we use the "Alfonso Bonilla Aragón" Airport (CLO).

Where can I ride to on a Colombia motorcycle rental?

The answer to this question depends on a few factors, like our motorcycle fleet availability and the rest of the schedule. Special paperwork and authorizations need to be issued in order for you to cross borders with these bikes, so please inquire further about your options.

What is the best time of year for riding in Colombia?

Colombia, being so close to the equator and Ecuador has very little temperature variation throughout the year. We are proud to say that we have a 12 month riding season! Being a tropical country, rain can come and go at any time. April and November are the two months that usually get the most precipitation, this can vary every year so we operate normally during these months anyway. Temperatures can get quite cold on routes that hit 4000 meters above sea level (especially in the early in the morning) to 36C/96F at lower altitudes. Average riding temperatures are quite comfortable in the mid to upper 20's celsius, or high 70's and 80's fahrenheit.

What is the riding terrain like in Colombia?

This big and beautiful country is loaded with virtually every type of riding surface possible. We can direct you to fully-paved routes, or itineraries with mixed sand, gravel, dirt,  for dual sport riders exist as well, and each of the route packages listed on our site will have a brief description of what you can expect on that trip. Remember: It's ultimately your responsibility to inquire with our Representative about what types of terrains you'll come across when discussing route options, and that Riders should never make their first attempt at riding off-pavement part of an international expedition! Make sure you're comfortable with such terrains at home, first.
