Your Training Expedition Starts Here

Does This Sound Familiar?

It’s a feeling we know well. You see the photos, you watch the films—riders cresting a remote mountain pass, kicking up dust on a desert two-track, sharing stories around a crackling campfire miles from anywhere. You have the bike, you have the desire, but a gap remains between where you are and where you want to be.

Maybe you find yourself thinking…

  • "I love my bike on the pavement, but I feel clumsy and uncertain as soon as it gets loose."

  • "What do I actually need to pack for a multi-day trip? And how do I fit it all on my bike?"

  • "My biggest fear isn't the riding; it's getting a flat tire or having a simple mechanical issue 100 miles from the nearest town."

  • "I want to do a BDR or explore a backcountry route, but I don't know how to start, and I don't want to be that guy who holds everyone else back."

For over a decade, RIDE Adventures has been helping riders bridge that exact gap. We believe that the greatest adventures are earned, and it all starts with building a solid foundation of skill and confidence. That’s why we created this.

Introducing Our Backcountry Training Expedition:
A 5-Day Adventure Immersion

This is more than a class. It's the beginning of your life as a true adventure rider. We’ve combined our most critical training courses with a real, multi-day expedition to create the most effective and confidence-inspiring program available.

Over five days, you’ll progress from learning core skills at our Pahrump range to navigating the ruggedly beautiful Nevada backcountry on a fully-loaded motorcycle. You won't just learn the theory; you'll live the adventure, supported every step of the way by our expert coaching team.

The Skills You'll Gain, The Confidence You'll Keep

Our goal is to give you the keys to independence. You’ll leave this course with the ability to plan, pack for, and safely execute your own adventures.

  • Become One with Your Bike: Develop the fluid control and balance to make your adventure bike feel like an extension of you, whether you’re navigating a rocky trail or a tight switchback.

  • Demystify the Logistics: Learn the art of smart packing, what tools and spares are essential, and how to set up a comfortable, efficient campsite.

  • Conquer Common Problems: We’ll teach you what matters most, including how to fix a flat tire on the trail. This single skill transforms the fear of the unknown into a manageable inconvenience.

  • Learn to Read the Trail: Gain the ability to look at a section of road, choose a line, and ride it with confidence and composure.

  • Earn Your Campfire Stories: The best part of adventure is the experience itself. You'll ride incredible routes, see stunning landscapes, and finish each day with the deep satisfaction that only comes from a challenging day in the saddle.

An Investment in a Lifetime of Adventure

We believe in providing incredible value. This course is an investment that pays dividends on every future trip you take.

For one price, you receive our two flagship training courses (ADV 1 & ARC) plus a 3-day group RIDE. You're getting a full week of training, lodging (camping), coaching, and support that will empower you with a priceless sense of freedom.

Expedition Day 1:

Building the Foundation: Your journey begins at our Pahrump training center with our full ADV 1 skills course. We drill the core techniques that will serve you on every ride you ever take.

Expedition Day 2:

Preparing for the Trail: We shift focus to expedition prep with our Adventure Ready Course (ARC). We’ll cover packing and planning before loading up our bikes for a "shakedown ride," ensuring you and your gear are set for the real thing.

We're still at our Pahrump Training Range for Day 2.

Expedition Day 3:

Into the Wild: This is the moment. We leave the training range behind and ride into the heart of the Nevada backcountry. You’ll immediately put your new skills to the test on real terrain, and we'll make our first camp far from the pavement.

Expedition Day 4:

The Heart of the Adventure: With a full day of exploration ahead, your confidence will soar. We’ll ride a spectacular loop, tackle new challenges, and enjoy the freedom of being truly out there. The camaraderie and stories around the campfire tonight are what it's all about.

Expedition Day 5:

The Ride Home You’ll ride back to Pahrump feeling like a completely different motorcyclist. You’ll have the skills, the experience, and the memories from your first expedition. The journey is complete, but your adventure is just beginning. We will arrive back in Pahrump later in the day.

Departure Day

Take the path less traveled and continue your ADVenture on the neighboring BDRs or load up for the road. We hope you enjoyed your mini expedition and have the confidence and skills to continue the adventure.
