Testimonials

"Eric,
I wanted to write a sincere thank you for our amazing experience with your two day training
option right there in Bend Oregon on September 3rd and 4th. My brother Nick organized this
trip. He owns his own KTM and rides often here in Western Colorado. His goal was to ride with
us, his two brothers.
- Our thanks to Adam for the kind words and satisfaction in knowing that our ADV Training Expeditions have helped the Wasser Brothers build a foundation for their future riding plans. See you guys in Baja : )

Brad went above and beyond when my personal motorcycle crapped out 300 miles away. Helped arrange a bike rental, stayed in touch with me, and just helped a bad situation be better. Can't thank him enough.
Todd, Sprague, and Levi are excellent teachers and are able to demonstrate skills and answer questions. The positive attitudes displayed by all your staff were incredible.
Garth Bergman

This was a great training. I had initially signed up a year and a half prior for the ADV 2 class but unfortunately had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. Ride ADV was kind enough to issue me a credit for future training. I chose the ADV 1 course on my second attempt and was glad I did. I have been riding motorcycles off-road for a number of years, but I'm largely self-taught. The ADV 1 course was a very useful refresher which I benefited from greatly. The take-home
message for me was that I should spend more time on slow, technical skills rather than just hitting the road or trail for a ride. It will make me a more confident and safer rider.
Luke P.

My friend and I drove down from Montana to Pahrump, NV, to escape the winter a bit and to ride our motorcycles. We took the ADV 1 course and honed our skills, developed new skills, and got to hang out with bike-minded peeps! The instructors shared their wealth of information and experience in a way we could easily understand, and by the end of the 2-day course, our confidence and skills had grown.
Also, the camping close to their training facility was spectacular!!!!
Highly recommend it, and even more fun to bring a friend!!!
Cricket Butler

A great weekend experience for me and my son. The trainers/guides were friendly, great teachers, and a pleasure to ride with. They were patient and engaging with my teenage son, who joined me for the weekend. Overall, it was a great time, and I'm looking forward to a future adventure with them.
David Gilbert

I just completed the two level-one training.
It was the best money I’ve ever spent on riding. I learned more in two days than I would on my own in a year or two.
My confidence in off-road riding has improved 10 fold. Thank you to the entire Ride Adventure staff.
Tony Ostoja

A great experience loaded with experience and lessons from the instructors. Anyone that rides motorcycles should take the class. Thoughtful courses and exercises to help my on-road and off-road riding.

- Richard, we're glad if our Training Expedition in Oregon was a positive step forward in building your skillset for adventure riding, and look forward to seeing which bike you end up with : )

Finally, a company that offers women-only courses. The dynamic is different, there is a comfort level when riding with women in a group training only. Some things are better discussed with other women because we have different experiences when we ride than men do. The coaches were knowledgeable, the terrain was great for it. I will be back when Ride ADV offers the "plus" course for women.

Backcountry Training Expedition
For Every Rider Who’s Ever Dreamed of Off-Pavement
There's a moment when watching adventure films isn't enough. This is your first step to finally making that dream a reality. Gain the skills, confidence, and real-world experience to write your own story.
Your Training Expedition Starts Here
Does This Sound Familiar?
It’s a feeling we know well. You see the photos, you watch the films—riders cresting a remote mountain pass, kicking up dust on a desert two-track, sharing stories around a crackling campfire miles from anywhere. You have the bike, you have the desire, but a gap remains between where you are and where you want to be.
Maybe you find yourself thinking…
-
"I love my bike on the pavement, but I feel clumsy and uncertain as soon as it gets loose."
-
"What do I actually need to pack for a multi-day trip? And how do I fit it all on my bike?"
-
"My biggest fear isn't the riding; it's getting a flat tire or having a simple mechanical issue 100 miles from the nearest town."
-
"I want to do a BDR or explore a backcountry route, but I don't know how to start, and I don't want to be that guy who holds everyone else back."
For over a decade, RIDE Adventures has been helping riders bridge that exact gap. We believe that the greatest adventures are earned, and it all starts with building a solid foundation of skill and confidence. That’s why we created this.
Introducing Our Backcountry Training Expedition:
A 5-Day Adventure Immersion

Our goal is to give you the keys to independence. You’ll leave this course with the ability to plan, pack for, and safely execute your own adventures.
-
Become One with Your Bike: Develop the fluid control and balance to make your adventure bike feel like an extension of you, whether you’re navigating a rocky trail or a tight switchback.

-
Conquer Common Problems: We’ll teach you what matters most, including how to fix a flat tire on the trail. This single skill transforms the fear of the unknown into a manageable inconvenience.
-
Learn to Read the Trail: Gain the ability to look at a section of road, choose a line, and ride it with confidence and composure.
-
Earn Your Campfire Stories: The best part of adventure is the experience itself. You'll ride incredible routes, see stunning landscapes, and finish each day with the deep satisfaction that only comes from a challenging day in the saddle.
