MOTORCYCLE RENTALS FOR ADVENTURES IN CHILE

Acting as a gateway for motorcycle trips into Patagonia in the south, and a starting point for adventures in San Pedro de Atacama, Bolivia, and Peru...CHILE is one busy country in motorcycle tourism. The motorcycles we offer are all excellent for riding in the region, considering the fuel qualities, altitudes, terrain you'll encounter. Take a look at the models we offer!

PLEASE NOTE: The Patagonia riding season is only October through April. Each year, some dates can be sold out well before the season starts, so we recommend you reserve your bikes 8+ months in advance or earlier if you want to ride the following Patagonia season!

BMW 650 GS (Single Cylinder)

Being the one of the lightest of the rental options sure does have its advantages.  If your plans are to seek out every spot of dirt possible, yet still be comfortable on the open road, the single-cylinder version of BMW’s GS models is an excellent choice.  Also an excellent choice for riders who prefer or need a low seat height.

BMW R1200GS - Liquid Cooled

BMW R1200GS - Liquid Cooled

Revised back in 2013, BMW it seems has done it once again in the world of adventure motorcycles. The new liquid-cooled version of the famous R1200GS comes with a more "upright" stance and off-road friendly positioning.  Now with a wet clutch, a higher air intake perfect for river crossings, and a 10% horsepower increase over the previous model, BMW has clearly made improvements on what was already a great adventure bike.

BMW R1200GS Adventure (2014+ Liquid Cooled)

Just a year after releasing the Liquid Cooled R1200GS, BMW's famous Adventure model or "GSA" was introduced, and for all the right reasons. Like it's predecessor, the "GSA LC" as we tend to call it boast the 125 liquid cooled horsepower and has the fuel capacity and carrying capability to make the longest and most remote adventures a reality. At the same time, it's still a thrill when in tight mountain switchbacks and twisties!

What is the best motorcycle route to ride in Chile?

The answer to this question of course is going to vary based on what each rider's past experience, interests, timing, and available duration are. Generally speaking, most riders that are looking to rent a motorcycle and ride self-guided are copying variations of our, Patagonia Coast to Coast, Patagonia Experience route or the Best of Northern Patagonia tour. Patagonia isn't the only place to ride in Chile though, as we also have incredible scenery and riding around the Atacama Desert and Pacific Coast that can be enjoyed year round. The point here is, you might not be able to decide from all these web pages exactly which is the best route for you, but we welcome you to inquire with us, tell us more about your interests, and let us help you make the right decision!
