Imagine your next motorcycle trip: traversing loose gravel trails, navigating sandy washes, winding through rocky paths, and reaching those incredible backcountry views—all without hesitation.
Transitioning a heavy adventure bike from the pavement to the dirt requires a completely different skill set. Whether you join us at our Summer Training Range in Bend, Oregon, or our Winter Training Range in Pahrump, Nevada, our professional instructors will teach you how to master the terrain.
Please note: Group training requires a minimum of 1,000 miles of basic street riding experience. If you are brand new to motorcycles, check out our Private Training options below.
Riding a 500+ lb adventure motorcycle off-road can be intimidating. Many riders stick to the pavement simply because they don't want to drop their expensive bikes or find themselves stuck in deep sand.
Our curriculum is designed to break those mental and physical barriers. We teach you the precise mechanics of balance, body position, and throttle control so you control the motorcycle, rather than the motorcycle controlling you.
Day 1: Skills on the Range.
We spend the first day in a controlled environment. Both our Bend and Pahrump ranges feature dedicated gravel, dirt, and sand sections, plus custom obstacles to play on and build your technique step-by-step.
Day 2: The ADV Group Ride.
We take the skills you learned on the range and apply them in the wild. We'll head out onto local backcountry discovery routes and trails, with instructors coaching you through real-world terrain.
Small Group Sizes:
We cap our classes to ensure high-quality, personalized feedback for every rider.
Rent or Bring Your Own: Ride your own motorcycle, or rent from our fleet of fully prepped ADV bikes (Honda Africa Twin, Yamaha T7, BMW GS, etc.).
Year-Round Riding:
Train in the Pacific Northwest dirt during the summer (Bend, OR) or escape the cold and ride the desert in the winter (Pahrump, NV).
You aren't just learning from enthusiasts; you are learning from the pros. Our instructor team brings decades of high-level experience, including backgrounds in professional off-road racing, law enforcement motor units, and military service. We teach proven, repeatable techniques that keep you safe in the most remote corners of the globe.
Don't quite have 1,000 miles of street experience yet? Or perhaps you want to focus intensely on a specific skill, like deep sand riding or preparing for a specific global expedition? We offer Private Training tailored completely to your pace and goals. Work 1-on-1 with our lead instructors to fast-track your progression.
1 or 2 Days of professional instruction and coaching by our experienced Guides on your own motorcycle, and a RIDE Adventures shirt & Swag
Add ADV Bike Rental - Same as above plus motorcycle rental of your choice, Tank Bag, Required 3rd Party Liability Insurance, and Basic crash bar protection

The end of the pavement doesn't have to be the end of your trip. The skills you learn over these two days will transform the way you look at a map. Suddenly, those remote BDRs (Backcountry Discovery Routes) and international bucket-list trails are within your reach.

Cancellations:
Our Cancellations: If we have to cancel a class, we will first attempt to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, we will issue a full refund. In Bend, Oregon the closest larger airport is located in Redmond, Oregon (RDM). It's about a 15 to 20 minute car ride to get into Bend. However, Uber, Lyft, and taxis aren't always available or reliable. It's a good idea to pre-book if you can and give yourself plenty of time.
For Pahrump/Las Vegas training, there are several more options, and it will be best to confirm with our staff at the time of your booking.
Most of our training locations have pre-set meeting spots. You'll receive this information in an email after you purchase the training.
But sometimes we have to switch up locations. We try to pick spots that are located close to or at a chill business. For instance, Spoken Moto in Bend is a bike specific shop, that also has food carts and beer. So it's a great space for a meet and greet or hanging out after.
So if we're looking for another spot we'll update you on a meeting location. You can always contact us go get this info if you might have missed another notification.
