The most recent and memorable headlines of Chile might bring images of near-record setting earthquakes, 33 trapped miners, and protests against the introduction of power generation dams being installed in Patagonia. While Chile does see much of the world's seismic activity and those miners did nearly suffer a most tragic demise, the greatest danger Chile faces right now is the destruction of its precious territory of Patagonia.
