A great weekend experience for me and my son. The trainers/guides were friendly, great teachers, and a pleasure to ride with. They were patient and engaging with my teenage son, who joined me for the weekend. Overall, it was a great time, and I'm looking forward to a future adventure with them.

My friend and I drove down from Montana to Pahrump, NV, to escape the winter a bit and to ride our motorcycles. We took the ADV 1 course and honed our skills, developed new skills, and got to hang out with bike-minded peeps! The instructors shared their wealth of information and experience in a way we could easily understand, and by the end of the 2-day course, our confidence and skills had grown.
Also, the camping close to their training facility was spectacular!!!!
Highly recommend it, and even more fun to bring a friend!!!

I just completed the two level-one training.
It was the best money I’ve ever spent on riding. I learned more in two days than I would on my own in a year or two.

This was a great training. I had initially signed up a year and a half prior for the ADV 2 class but unfortunately had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. Ride ADV was kind enough to issue me a credit for future training. I chose the ADV 1 course on my second attempt and was glad I did. I have been riding motorcycles off-road for a number of years, but I'm largely self-taught. The ADV 1 course was a very useful refresher which I benefited from greatly. The take-home
message for me was that I should spend more time on slow, technical skills rather than just hitting the road or trail for a ride. It will make me a more confident and safer rider.

Finally, a company that offers women-only courses. The dynamic is different, there is a comfort level when riding with women in a group training only. Some things are better discussed with other women because we have different experiences when we ride than men do. The coaches were knowledgeable, the terrain was great for it. I will be back when Ride ADV offers the "plus" course for women.

The astounding scenery of Vietnam. The variety of excellent accommodations for the overnights (exceeded my expectations). The local knowledge and historical perspectives of Vietnam and Indochine histories imparted by Ngoc throughout the trip was incredible.

Ngoc was the man. The guy only has one mood, and it's happy. He was on top of every single aspect of the trip for every single rider. You left something. back at the hotel? He found it and got it back to you. Your ATM card got sucked into the machine ( my case ) No worries. He finds a workaround for hotel payment. Is your bike acting up? No sweat, take mine and we'll figure it out later. And in between, you'll get amazing and detailed history lessons on Vietnam. Really enjoyed my time with him.

"A much belated review, our trip to Chile was in January 2020, just under the Covid wire. Eric and Christine were instrumental in having the bike portion of our adventure become a success. We were grateful to Christine for suggesting we include the Ruta de los Siete Lagos in Argentina in our agenda, and it was absolutely spectacular. Thanks to our contact in Pucon, all border crossings were seamless and we felt very supported with the route we had planned, our personal safety and the safety of the bike. We feel very fortunate to have had such a wonderful experience, especially in light of what happened worldwide shortly after our trip. Thanks to all, and here's hoping more adventures will follow!" |
