Kudos to Domino's Pizza and the electric motorcycle manufacturers that offer up this fantastic Friday humor!
Fearing that their electric delivery motorcycles are too quiet to be heard amongst the chaotic rumble of other bikes, cars, and trucks, Domino's set out to make sure their delivery riders are kept safe while on the job. (Just watch the YouTube video below.)
While only useful to a small portion of the motorcycle riding market at this point, (sub-100 mile users) electric motorcycles and scooters absolutely have a place in our riding future. Talks of fuel prices in the U.S. soon matching those around the world will make that certain.
In fact it's been about a year since we first did our Prototype Electric Motorcycle Review, and exactly which manufacturer designed the bike I rode that day is still unknown.
When will electric motorcycles be used for guided motorcycle tours? Well, we're still at least "100 miles of charge-holding capability" away from that, but anything is possible!
